How to: Use Fuwa Fuwa Clay Whipped Cream

Posted on October 12th, 2011 in Fake Sweets Recipes

We did this video awhile back without much monitoring of the feedback and today, we took a look and was glad to see that we have many views and some comments! This actually motivate us to produce more tutorial videos hehe.

Here’s the first video which we made on how to successfully use a Fuwa Fuwa Clay Whipped Cream pack. We had several feedback in the past who told us that they had difficulty using it. We want you to know that with the right steps, it is not that difficult after all!

This is a paper type of clay, does not need to baked and is air dried. It’s texture after drying is spongy and matte. It might have slight cracks after some time, if you did not mix the pack well or did not apply any sealer.

We still have this whipped cream in stock! Others are already sold-out and we will only be looking to restock the rest of the whipped cream in January next year (hopefully!)

Let’s discuss if you had any success with this brand and type of clay or the difficulties you had!

This is a Decoden Jar decorated by me using purely our supplies. I had really great fun with it!

Recipe

IKEA Jar
Fuwa Fuwa Whipped Cream
Clear Pink Glue Stick
7mm Half Pink Faux Pearls
4mm Round Multi-Colored Faux Pearls
Decollage Clear Chocolate Sauce
Polymer Clay Sprinkles
Polymer Clay Sticks
Glitter Lollipop Cabochon (Front right)
Pink Lollipop Cabochon (Front left)
Swirl Pink Lollipop Cabochon (Back)
Pink Donut Cabochon (Back left)
Sweet Cupcake Cabochon (Back right)
AB Faceted Pink Heart Rhinestone (Front left)
3mm Pink Rhinestone with Tip end
2mm Clear Rhinestone with Tip end

Point 1

An important point to note in this recipe is that, the Fuwa Fuwa Whipped Cream has to be thoroughly squeezed/squashed/pressed before cutting the pack for application. If not, the clay will not turn creamy and your results will not be good. If proper handling has been done to the Fuwa Fuwa Whipped Cream, the result will look like a vivid real whipped cream with good texture.

Point 2

The hot glue has to be applied from the top so that it drips down to create the icing sauce effect.
The rest is pretty simple and I bet a beginner can do it, because I am one! I hope you like it!
