What's New in Our Supplies Shop?
My mom has a Samsung smartphone and she wanted us to bling her cell phone for her! She spotted our one and only hot pink bling Hello Kitty cabochon and loves it. Using a silicone clear case, we managed to design something which might suit her taste.

Half way through the process, we realised that we used 5mm rhinestones which might be too big! But I guess it still turns out nicely. How do you like it? ^^ Does it give you a royal feeling? lol
A note to self, for silicone case, you need a really strong glue. Our deco princess glue does not seem to stick so well on silicone. In the end, we have to use super glue to stick the cabochon, but it surely caused some chemical reaction to the case!

As I mentioned above, we only have ONE pink Hello Kitty Bling Cabochon. BUT, the clear one you see above will be available soon at Sophie & Toffee. The eyes, nose and whiskers are hand bling by us ^^ Do you prefer the pink one or the clear one?
Follow us on our Facebook page to know when the clear Hello Kitty Bling Cabochon is available for purchase!
Hand-picked cupcake & sweets theme series – I really liked the new cabochons released this week. Also, this post marked my first come-back on this blog for the longest time! I decided to continue to write on this blog. Everything which interest and inspires me and also about our supplies shop. Definitely all things cute and lovely!
My next post will be the winners of our awesome 5 packs of Cabochon Giveaways!

We have prided ourselves to be the pioneer of churning out new cabochon designs weekly and have been looking for ways to enjoy economies of scale with means of raw material bulk purchases. We now can extend this savings to our customers. Also, with the emerging of new sellers and copycats, we see the need to remain competitive and yet still giving the best we can.
We had spent days in prices revamping for our shops and now customers can reap what we sow. All prices are now effective lowered at a whooping 30% storewide to cabochons, pearls & rhinestones. All adjustments have been made at our Webshop, Etsy and Dawanda.

Over the next few weeks, we are looking to lower other prices for Japanese products as well as we are now direct import from Japan factories. So continue to stay with us and watch our pace!
Of course, the other stuffs still remains the same: Flat rate shipping, friendly & prompt customer service, excellent packaging and a passion for handmade.
Floree Clay is relatively new in the international market compared to other Japanese brand like Padico & Fuwa Fuwa. Though it is an excellent and high quality clay, there are many who does not know the attributes of these range of clay. Today, I am going to intro a bit on these Floree Clay and what crafts they are suitable to use with.

◎ – Yes
△ – Medium
× – No
Yosuke’ll clay = Exoak = Transparent Clay

From the chart above, you will have an idea which clay to use if you want to succeed in crafting your desired items. For example, if you want to make those pastel colored fake sweets, you would want to use either White Oak or any Lightweight clay. However, from the clay, you can tell that other lightweight clay does not have the good properties which White Oak Clay has when come to crafting fake sweets.

Next, we will talk about water resistance. In general, all Floree Clay has better water resistance compared to other clay. Water resistance that is, when in touch with water, the shape of the clay will not be easily distorted. All air dry clay will definitely turn soft when soaked in water because they are made of flour, unlike Polymer Clay, but Floree holds the strongest water resistance attribute.

Lastly, many of artisans use molds to construct their clay shape and often, they face the difficulty of removing their clay from the molds. With no proper handling, clay shapes can be distorted and not perfected. There are many different techniques of removing clay from molds but if the clay strength is strong and with higher flexbility, it will help heaps!
Floree has manufactured their clay for easier removal with use with their molds as illustrated below:

Ultimately, it will depend on your own ease on which type of clay works for you and the type of project you are in.
I personally love Fuwa Fuwa pastel & glitter colors, Hearty’s economical value and Floree’s quality.

Wow, time really flies and a year has passed.
I remembered when we first started selling supplies (ToffeeHouse), I was juggling with my day time job and could not wait to come back home to start on either my sewing (Yes, I was sewing a bit back then!) or answering customer’s queries!

When I have the courage to finally quit my day time job to concentrate on our supplies shop, I know I have to stock up on the different designs and start to look for high-quality items supplied by reputable factories.
We started with stocking up every part of space in our house possible. We work till wee hours to get orders shipped on the promised days. We had a faithful motorcycle which we travel on to brave raining days to our post office.
Over the year, because we have many loyal and fun customers (like you!), we told ourselves that all the late nights and long hours are worth it! It was totally awesome to have customers who turned friends, to leave us appreciative feed backs that felt like a pat on our shoulder. Friends who just love chatting with us and sharing with us their creativity.
Today, because of all the love and support shown to us, we managed to have a cabochon factory, small transport car for delivery, a new website for local customers with customizable purchases, a small humble office to better manage logistics inventory and to facilitate work flow.

S&T Office
These could not have happened if not for you.
To express our deep gratitude, we will be having a 18% discount sale for all purchases made on our new website and we will also include a cabochon freebies pack for every purchase! This promotion starts today 5 Apr, will last for 8 days and ends on 12 Apr – promotional code happy1year. Also, we have 4 sets of Re-Ment Magnets to give away! Find out more on our web shop.

Over the year, we have met with a lot of steep competitions from other sellers and had some of the nastiest setbacks, but we are very grateful for those who had stayed with us. Please do not hesitate to drop us a mail to let us know how we can improve, to be the best we can for you.
THANK YOU!

Yesterday, I tried to use our clays with our new 3D flexible molds and they work! I took some photos to share with you and how easily it is to use compared to other molds which needed releasing agent or any other techniques.

The example shown was by using Fuwa Fuwa Paper clay with one of the 3D flexible mold.

I took a bit of the clay and press it firmly down into one of the design on the mold.

Because the mold is so flexible, I do not need to wait for the clay to dry or the need to put any kind of releasing agent. No need any other removing technique, I just simply bend the mold to pop the clay out.

And “Ta Da!” We got a cute tiny clay chocolate made from the flexible mold. No fuss, no mess, so easy!
Hence, these molds are good for clay craft as well as acrylic art. The designs on the mold are relatively smaller, excellent for nail art designs, earrings, and other small craft projects

What's New in Our Supplies Shop?
Sorry for the lack of updates, we waited quite a while for our new deco items to arrive from Japan and finally they are here and on sale in our shops now!
Fuwa Fuwa Mousse Clay and Whipped cream are very popular and they are soft and light to use! The special highlights of the Mousse clay are the colors and tips inclusive. Fuwa Fuwa items come in many colors – rainbow colors and in pastel and exotic colors. This makes your crafting easy without have to blend clays. All clays are air dry, so you do not need to bake them.
Also, we have some deco shape sponges which allows you to make and decorate sponge cakes easily! Just spread your whipped cream on them without worrying about details.
Lastly, I would like to introduce our Magic Tip for Rhinestone application and our Deco Princess Glue. I used them to bling my car and car keys and they work wonderfully. The glue dries easily and you can remove your bling by using water and a scrub. As for the Magic Tip, there are 20 stickers which you can change and the tip sticks to your rhinestone and releases easily once contact with the glue.

What's New in Our Supplies Shop?
Right, we kiss and make up with Dawanda and now we are selling Re-Ment miniatures in our Dawanda shop! Due to Etsy’s policy updates on commercial supplies, we can no longer sell miniatures which are ready to use as dollhouse furniture etc. However, these miniatures can now be found at our Dawanda shop. Dawanda shop is in EUR currency and all orders are shipped with tracking information and delivery confirmation.
More miniatures will be on sale at our Dawanda shop these few days so keep checking out.
We are in the midst of building our own online shop as well, where you can select customized quantity per item and purchasing wholesale orders. Stay tuned!
